Local high school student makes film
Clint Keller's "Road to Oblivion" is set to premiere at Newport Cinema 4 on Aug. 8 at 12 noon, thanks to Doug Kitzmiller. This showing will be free of charge and open to the public.
NEWPORT-Two men, one mission, survival...this is the synopsis of the upcoming short film, "Road to Oblivion."
This 25- minute short film follows two men, played by Brandon Foster and David Cooper, as they travel through a post-apocalyptic, zombie-infested world.
"Road to Oblivion" was completed by writer, director, producer Clint Keller, a local 17-year-old high school student. Keller began writing the script in December of 2008 and began principle photography on June 6, 2009. After three months of pre-production, five weeks of filming, and two weeks of editing, the film was finished. Clint plans to enter the short film in several local and national film festivals.

Clint is a homeschooled upcoming senior from Parrottsville who will be attending Walters State dual enrollment classes this fall and hopes to attend film school after graduation. He is the son of Keith and Lisa Keller, brother to Candice Keller, and grandson of Ralph and Brenda Johnson, Wayne and Mary Keller, Herman and Virginia Dearing.
