HILTON, BOBBIE JUNE - age 67, of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, December 16, 1999 at Fort Sanders Parkwest Medical Center. Mrs. Hilton was very active in her children's activities such as Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, softball, and many others. She was known by many of the children in her neighborhood as "mom" or "mamaw." Mrs. Hilton was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Verna Woodby King; brother, Buddy King. She is survived by her loving family, husband, Charles J. Hilton of Knoxville; daughter, Betty J. "BJ" Hitchcock of Maryville; sons, Russell Hilton, Robert Hilton, Jacky Hilton, and Gary Hilton, all of Knoxville; 4 grandchildren, Brandy Drinnon, Amanda Hilton, Zachary Hitchcock, and Andee Hitchcock; one great grandson, David Hilton; sisters, Doris Branum of Powell, Charlotte Tobler of Richmond, Ky., Brenda Neal of Kernersville, NC, and Mary King of Knoxville; brothers, Clyde King of Knoxville and Amos King of Johnson City. Mrs. Hilton is at Highland Memorial Funeral Home, 5315 Kingston Pike, where the family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. Saturday. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor John Schultz officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
