DOCKERY, MARY PHYLLIS F. - age 63, of Webb Circle Dandridge, passed away Sunday evening, January 16, 2000 at University of Tennessee Medical Center following a brief illness. Preceded in death by her father, Conrad R. (Con) French, Sr. Phyllis was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dandridge and the Birthday Club which included her dear friends. She was a retired bookkeeper having started work with her father at F&J Tractor Co. and later on had worked for Engineered Products Co. and Carson-Newman College in the finance department. Phyllis was a lady that loved life, home, and family and was an avid antique collector who enjoyed decorating the home with her found treasures and artifacts. Survivors: husband, Harold Dockery; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and John Bennett of Knoxville; grandchildren, John Reed Bennett, Jr., and Stefanie Lynn Bennett; mother, Reba Hillard French; brother, C.R. (Ronnie) French, Jr., all of Knoxville; nephews, Andy French and Sandy Miller; niece, LindseyFrench; sister-in-law, Helen Dockery Miller and husband Robert. Funeral services Tuesday 7:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Robert McCray officiating. Interment graveside services Wednesday 11 a.m. at Hopewell Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, PO Box 246 Dandridge, TN 37725. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening 5:30-7:30 p.m. prior to services at the church. Arrangements by Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge.
