Kerry D. “Toby” Taboas, age 61, of Sevierville, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2009. Mr. Taboas was born January 19, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan. He retired after 30 years of service with Chrysler Corporation in Kokomo, Indiana. He attended Freedom Baptist Church in Pigeon Forge.
Kerry was a loving husband, and one of his greatest joys in life was being a grandfather and spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed his league at the Pigeon Forge Community Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Virginia Taboas and brother Joseph Taboas all of Kokomo, Indiana.
He was survived by his wife of 26 years: Susan K. Taboas
Sons and daughters-in-law: Anthony D. and Charity Taboas of Bloomington, Indiana; John Mathew and Shannon Porter of Pigeon Forge
Grandchildren: Megan and John Marshall Porter, Alexander Taboas
Sister and brother-in-law: Laura R. and Bob Fortner of Waterloo, SC
Sister-in-law: Mary E. Taboas of Kokomo, IN Father and mother-in-law: Lewis and Betty Miller
Brothers and sisters-in-law: Danny and Denise Miller, Russell and Sue Carr

Funeral service 2 PM Sunday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Parton and Rev. Lewis Miller officiating. The family will receive friends 1-2 PM Sunday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
