LaRUE , ELORA BLACKBURN - age 82 of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2004. A retired Officer with the Salvation Army, she is preceded in death by her parents, Josiah S. and Ada Lucille Weaver Blackburn her son, Kenneth Wayne LaRue brothers, Elvin Gale Blackburn , Oran Morgan Blackburn and Raymond Blackburn sisters, Anna Irene Brannum, Alma Florence Ownby, Dovie Lucille Adams, and Evelyn Blackburn . She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles B. LaRue children, Charles David and wife Virginia LaRue , Carole Elizabeth and husband Wesley Short, Larry Joe and wife LaDonna LaRue , and Beverly Ann and husband Randy Crowe 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the Salvation Army Chapel, North Broadway with Major Dewey Alderson officiating. The body will be placed in the chapel one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow at Sherwood Cemetery, committal conducted by Lt. Col. Charles White.
