John’s eldest son Thomas was born in the Caroline County Virginia area in 1735. 2. John’s youngest son by from his first marriage, Richard Bradley was born in Granville County North Carolina in 1750. I will give the correct years for the other 3 children of John Bradley’s first marriage later. 3. The John Bradley who was born in St. Peter’s Parrish, New Kent County Virginia in September 1739 was actually the son of a Thomas Bradley who was the son of a Joseph Bradley from Charles City County Virginia. These two counties border to each other, and the evidence of this family relationship is in a deed from Joseph Bradley to his two sons Thomas Bradley and Benjamin Bradley recorded in the deed books of Westover Parish of Charles City county Virginia on April 23, 1729. The Thomas in this deed is the father of the John Bradley born in St. Stephens parish in September 1739. 4. The John Bradley that is my ancestor, was born on July 13, 1707 in St. Stephens Parrish in what is now King and Queen County Virginia, but in at that time was still a part of the original New Kent County Virginia and was the northern most parish of New Kent County King and Queen county was later formed from part of New Kent, and other counties.. He had an older sibling who was named Isaac, who was born in the same parish on May 18, 1775. His father was Edward Bradley, who was born in 1680, and who was one of the sons of Thomas Bradley of New Kent, later Hanover county Virginia.
