U.S. Veteran Earl Keller, age 91, of Maryville, passed away Friday, October 30, 2009 at his home. Mr. Keller was a loving husband, father and grandfather to all children. He was a member of Six Mile Baptist Church for over 60 years. He is retired from Alcoa and a veteran of World War II. Mr. Keller was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Alice Sparks; grandson, Samuel Earl Sparks; parents, WT and Mary Jane Hall Keller; brothers, Frank, Roy, Homer, Willie, and Fern; sisters, Osie, Jessie, Rosie, Laura, Grace, and Minnie. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marie Hatcher Keller; daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and Charles Brown and Minnie and Phil Lindsey; grandchildren, Terry Sparks, William Brown, Gary and Casey Brown, Jason and Kaci Brown, Brad and Lisa White, David and Nina White, and Tisha Sparks Housely; step grandchildren, Bennie and Tressie Nuchols, Chuck and Patti Brown Campbell, Jeff and Teresa Lindsey, Bridget Lindsey, and Michelle Nuchols; sister-in-laws, Bernice Keller, Lois Payne, Sara Lou Dorsey, Jack and Eden Hatcher, and Archie and Wanda Hatcher; special family, Robert and Judy Sparks; special nephew, Ollie Keller; 19 great grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren; special friends, Jay Cooper, Dortha Yearout and Della Chambers; several nieces and nephews. Special thanks and love to our entire hospice family; Sue, Tabitha, Brenda, Rachelle, Debra, Willa, and Dr. Cowan. Graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 2, 2009 at Old Piney Grove Church Cemetery, with Rev. Charles Murrell and Rev. Rex Everett officiating.
