HUTSON, MILDRED RUTH - age 89 of Lake City, Tenn. in the Oak Grove Community, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2002 at the UT Medical Center in Knoxville, Tenn. She was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her church and also loved working in her flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Verney Hutson; parents, John & Martha Gaylor Duncan ; daughters, Sue Moneymaker, Margie McCoy; granddaughter, Tammy McCoy; sisters, Phyllis Sharp, Lucille Champion , Dorcey Duncan ; brothers, Kermit, Bert & Willard Duncan . Survivors: daughters, Wilma Harper & husband, Eddie, of Portland, Tenn., Judy Golden & husband, Arnold of Lake City, Tenn.; granddaughters she raised, Debbie McCoy Rann of Ringgold, Ga., Renee McCoy Hundley of Vienna, Virginia; grandchildren, Sonja Burton of Portland, Tenn., Carolyn Moneymaker of Norfork, Va., Roger Moneymaker of Memphis, Tenn., Scott Harper of Cookville, Tenn.; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Louise Gross of Knoxville, Tenn.; brothers, Thomas Duncan of Knoxville, Tenn., Duane Duncan of Dayton, Ohio; several nieces & nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 5, 2002 from 6-8 p.m. at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City with the funeral service following at 8 p.m. in the chapel with the Rev. Larry Foust and Rev. Mark Acres officiating. Interment will be Thursday June 6, 2002 at 11 a.m. at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City in charge of all arrangements.
