Mary Christine Kelso, 72, passed away on March 18, 2013. Christine was a loving wife, mother, mamaw, great-mamaw. and mother-in-law. She loved canning. She loved working with plants and was an avid UT sports fan. She was a supporter of K&E Racing. Christine was preceded in death by: father, Clarence Blair; sister, Shelby Chapman; niece, Missy Giles; several brothers-in-law. Survivors include: husband of 56 years, Thomas David Kelso; mother, Mayme Blair; sons & daughters-in-law, Ron and Kathy Kelso, James Richard Kelso; daughter and son-in-law, Regina & Willie Emert; grandchildren, Chris, Jimmy(Rebekah), Joey, Jed and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Liz; brothers, Marvin Blair, Robert (Joan) Blair, and Paul (Ann) Blair; sisters, Pat (Red) McCall and Martha (Dave) Harrison; sisters-in-law, Barbara (Brad), Shirley (Fred), Alice(Larry), Christine, Margaret, and Linda; brother-in-law, Hugh (Dianne); several nieces and nephews, and a host of other family. Funeral service 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2013, Smith Trinity Chapel, with Rev. Ben Ward officiating. Interment 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 21st, at Hopewell Springs Cemetery in Monroe County. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 Wednesday.
