Hickman-Lile engagement
Amber Nicole Hickman, daughter of David and Vicki Hickman, of Maryville, is engaged to marry Jeremy Thomas Lile, grandson of Carl and Beverly Ward, of Decatur, Ala., at 7 p.m. July 26 at Butterfly Gap Retreat. Invitations have been sent.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Carl and Gladys White, of Maryville, and Harrison and Jo Hickman, of Maryville.
The future bridegroom is the grandson of Carl and Beverly Ward, of Decatur, Ala., Harlon and Eva Ward, of Hartselle, Ala., and Devere and Catherine Macoy, of Salkville, Ala.
The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Maryville High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Tennessee. She is employed with Marriott Business Services.
The bridegroom-to-be attended Faulkner University, Montgomery, Ala. He is a professional Southern gospel music singer with Brian Free and Assurance from Atlanta.

Lile-Hickman
Amber Nicole Hickman, of Maryville, daughter of David and Vicki Hickman, of Maryville, was united in marriage with Jeremy Thomas Lile, of Decatur, Ala., son of Carl and Beverly Ward, of Decatur, Ala., at 7 p.m. July 26 at Butterfly Gap Retreat. The Rev. Carl White, grandfather of the bride, officiated.
Kim Hickman, of Maryville, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Michelle Niethammer, Bradi Bryan, Jennifer Malonee, Stephanie Cope, Kaci White, all of Maryville, Brittany Ward, of Arab, Ala., and Johnna Davis, of Atlanta.
Lana Malonee was flower girl. Chase Hickman was ring bearer. Gina Fortenberry kept the bride's book.
Carl Ward, of Decatur, Ala., grandfather of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Shane Hickman and Todd Hickman, of Maryville, brothers of the bride, Zack McGill, of Knoxville, Chris Whittaker, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Greg Godwin, of Atlanta, and Johnny Davis, of Atlanta.
A reception hosted by the parents of the bride was held at Butterfly Gap Retreat.
After a wedding trip to Cozumel and Grand Cayman, the couple are living in Maryville.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Maryville High School and a May 2008 graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in journalism and electronic media. She is employed at Marriott Business Services as a customer billing specialist.
The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Tri-County Bible School, Decatur, Ala., and attended Faulkner University. He is employed as a bass singer for Brian Free & Assurance Southern Gospel.
