She was a member of the Centerview Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Shelton; parents, Garrett and Anna Mae Holdway; brothers, Robert Holdway, J.D. Holdway, Billy Holdway and Jimmy Holdway. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Nell Shelton of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandsons, Chris Shelton of Bybee and Louis Shelton of Harvest, AL; brothers, Oscar Holdway of Bybee and Ben (Jane) Holdway of Brookpark, OH; sisters, Gladys Johnson of Asheville, NC, and Flora Lee Bihari of Bedford, OH; and great grandson, Lucas Shelton of Harvest, AL. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, September 22, 2014 at Manes Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Ball officiating. Burial will follow in the Centerview Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
