Belle Ritchey Davis age 90 of Corryton, took Jesus by the hand, 3:05 AM Thursday June 17, 2010, as he led her to her heavenly Eternal Home after a courageous 10 year battle with alzheimers. She was born in Loudon County and previously worked at Philadelphia Hosiery Mill before starting a family. She depended on the Lord as her guide in her temporary life her on earth. A true Godly Christian woman and member of Atkins Baptist Church and attended Clear Springs Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother that cherished her family. She loved flower gardening keeping her yard in blooms for every season for everyone to enjoy and listening to Southern Gospel Music. She was preceded in death by parents Matthew McClural and Virginia Thompson Ritchey, Brother James Edward Ritchey, Sister Trula Ritchey Peterson and Infant Son Leonard Eugene Davis. Belle leaves behind a amazing devoted family to carry on till they are reunited in Heaven Husband of 61 years James (Jim) F Davis, Daughters and Husbands Anita Davis and John Dee Pollard and Betty Davis and Randy Gooch, Son Jimmy Darrell Davis, Granddaughter Taylor Janeigh Gooch, Adopted Grandchildren (neighbors) Madison and Nick Wright, Special Friends John and Cookie Grissom and Butch and Elaine Hurst, Brother Charles Ritchey and Several Nieces and Nephews. Special thanks and love to her caring dependable loving nurses at St Marys Home Health and like a Daughter Donna Hutchison. Service 8 PM Saturday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, Pastor Bryan Wright officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:15 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home to proceed to Bookwalter Cemetery for a graveside service at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fairview Baptist Church Building Fund or Clear Springs Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 PM Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel
