Mrs. Barbara Ottinger, 57, of White Pine, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2008, at East Tennessee Baptist Hospital in Knoxville.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Byron and Sylvia Luster; brother-in-law, David McGinnis; nephew, J.D. Lyons; and niece, Randa Luster.
Survivors include her spouse, Robert Shelton, of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Amy Ottinger, and daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Matthew Wilde, all of Parrottsville; daughter, Ashley Shelton and her fianc?, Jeff Tatum, of Johnson City; son, Adam Shelton, of White Pine; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Kassaundra and Jeremy Price, of Newport; granddaughters, Samantha Wilde, Teagan Ottinger, Kayla Ottinger, and Emerald Ottinger, all of Parrottsville; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Paula Luster, of White Pine, and Byron and Lisa Luster and brother, Mark Luster, all of Morristown; sisters, Carol Patterson and Jane McGinnis, both of Morristown.
Additional survivors include several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening, April 16, 2008, at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home, followed by cremation, as requested by Barbara.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help with final expenses.
