DiPASQUALE Sr., 65, of Vineland, died Tuesday in Cooper University Hospital Medical Center, Camden. Born in Landisville, he was a Vineland resident for 55 years. Mr. DiPasquale was employed by the Vineland Buildings and Grounds Department for 10 years before retiring. He was also formerly employed as a machine operator for Top-O-Mart Clothes in Vineland for 31 years. A World War II Army veteran, he served with the 29th Infantry Division in the D-Day invasion of Normandy and served in the European, African and Middle Eastern campaigns. He was awarded a Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. Before the war, he was employed by the Pete-the-Greek Shoe Parlor in Vineland. He was a member of the American Legion and St. Francis of Assisi Church. Surviving are a son, Alfred J. Jr., of Vineland; two sisters, Josephine DiPasquale of Vineland and Theresa Nasuti of Bridgeton; and four grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Vineland. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and after 8:30 a.m. Friday at the Rone Funeral Chapel, Vineland.
