King, Chauncey Stewart, age 94 of East Knoxville went to be with the Lord on Monday October 8, 2007 at her home. She was a member of Kirk Hills Presbyterian Church, where she was ordained as an elder in 1987, taught Sunday school, and had been very active in the Women’s Association. Preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm McCoy King; daughter, Mary King; parents Samuel and Eudora Stewart; eleven brothers and sisters.
Survivors
Survivors include children, James King and wife Faye, Marjorie Wofford and husband Harold, and Julia Ann King; Grandchildren, Patti Stoeppel and husband John, Sandra Hickman and husband Bill, Lisa Nave and husband Wes, Sara Crisp and husband Rick, and Hal Wofford and wife Pam; several great grandchildren, and nieces, and nephews.
Service
Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 10, 2007 at 8:00PM at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Bob Davis officiating. Graveside services will be at 10:00PM on Thursday at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to Kirk Hills Presbyterian Church, 4123 Buffat Mill Rd, Knoxville, TN 37914. Arrangements made by Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 2300 W.
