DAVIS B. HARRELL Sr., 74, of Elmer, died Saturday in Elmer Community Hospital.
Born in Stirling, N.C., he was a lifelong Elmer resident.
Prior to retiring, he was employed as a special inspector for the E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. Chambers Works in Deepwater for 36 years.
Mr. Harrell was a member of Olivet Wesleyan Church of Glassboro, the USANA, the NRA and the du Pont Veterans Association.
Surviving are his wife, Dora L.; two sons, Roger D. of Pennsville and Richard W. of Franklinville; three daughters, Darlene Crevier of Orlando, Fla., Cora Lee Smith of Bridgeton and Mabel Y. Seay of Elmer; two sisters, Maxine Smith of Monroeville and Alma White of White Pine, Tenn.; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held 11 a.m. today in the Christy-Adams Funeral Home in Elmer. Burial will be in the Friendship Methodist Church Cemetery in Upper Pittsgrove Township.
