Mrs. Kilgore is the daughter of the late Scott Boyer and Lucy (Turner) Wood, and Mr. Kilgore is the son of Ellen Mae (Kilgore) Overton and step-son of the late Joseph Vance Kilgore. They have two children, Melanie (Kilgore) James and Melinda Kilgore, and two granddaughters Hanna James and Riley Kilgore.
