Gary Lee “Paps” Latham, age 57, of Maryville, went home to be with the Lord Monday, July 18, 2011. He was a member of the “25 Year Club” and employed with ALCOA for 38 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Coxwell and brother, Ricky Latham. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Remona Latham; daughter and son-in-law, Cissy and Josh Helton; son, Jacob Latham; grandchildren, Mikayla, Katelyn, and Ben Helton, Hayden Latham, and Baily Stewart; father, Chester Latham; brother, Craig Latham; sisters and brother-in-law, Tressa Tipton and Melissa and Jaime Metcalf; sister-in-law, Glenda Jenkins; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 8:00 PM Thursday, July 21, 2011, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Glenn Cummings officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville, (865) 982-6041, www.millerfuneralhome.org.
