LETTERMAN, BILLY D. - age 59, of Seymour, died Sunday, March 5, 2000 at Baptist Hospital. Member of Valley Grove Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge #453 F&AM. He was employed for 26 years with A.I.M. Printing (formerly Keith Press) and owner of Billy D. Letterman Photography. Mr. Letterman was a past president of the Union Local #118. Preceded in death by parents, Hustone and Emma Lee Letterman and aunts, Beulah Whitt, Reece Henry, and Alma Cooter; uncle, Quintus Letterman. Survived by wife, Wanda Letterman of Seymour; daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Donnie DeArmond of Knoxville; son, Todd Letterman of Seymour; uncles, Edward Letterman of Missouri, Rev. J.M. Whitt and Ray Cooter, both of Knoxville; aunts, Pauline Drake, Rose Savage, all of Knoxville; several cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends; good friend and business partner, Stan Williamson. A Masonic funeral service by Masonic Oriental Lodge #453 F&AM will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday with funeral service to follow at RoseMortuary Mann Heritage Chapel with Dr. Marvin Cameron and Rev. Dewey Cooper officiating with special music by brother Jim (Jimbo) Duncan. Family and friends will meet Thursday at Highland Memorial Cemetery for a 10 a.m. interment service. Active pallbearers: Lynn Millsaps, Wayne Cooper, Gilford Martin, Howard Maples, Eddie Turner, Clark Lawson. Honorary pallbearers: Tim Stinnett, Hugh Collins, Arnold Cotter, Glenn Hutchison, Gordon Catlett, Kenneth Webb, and Lee McNish. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel.
