(April 7, 1926 - August 31, 2007) War Edward Cameron, age 81, of Parrottsville, passed away Friday, August 31, 2007 at his home. He was a member of Parrottsville Church of God. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Keller Cameron who passed away October 28, 2006; parents, War Edgar and Mary Lusty (Boruff) Cameron; brother, Carl Cameron; and sister, Bonnie Cameron. He is survived by his daughters, Faye (Eddie) Samples of Greeneville, Barbara (Edd) Seals of Russellville, Sue (Tim) Owens of Parrottsville; son, Roger (Susan) Cameron of Irish Cut; grand children, Alice(Bryan) Bible of Greeneville, Pam (Shannon) Stokely of Del Rio, Jimmy (Jamie) Fellers of Greeneville, Sandra (Dennis) Worley of Parrottsville, Troy ( Tabby) Seal of Bean Station; fourteen great grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild; sisters, Elizabeth Cox of Jefferson City, Thelma White of Jefferson City, Annie Mae McGill of Jefferson City; brother, J. M. (Mary Nell) Cameron of White Pine; sister-in-law, Jane Bowman of Parrottsville; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 8:00 pm Sunday, September 2, 2007 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Paul Jennings, Rev. Joe Cureton and Rev. Tom Huskey officiating. Burial will be 12:00 noon Monday, September 3, 2007 in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm Sunday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral.
