WILLIAMS, JOHNNY ROGER - 63 of Oak Ridge, passed away on June 13, 2008. He was born in Grainger County, Tennessee on May 16, 1945 to parents Paul H. and Mary Lucille Nance Williams. Mr. Williams retired from Oak Ridge Tool and Engineering as a machinist, served 5 years with the National Guard, and had worked for the Oak Ridger as a pressman for 16 years. Johnny is survived by: his wife, Diane Williams, Oak Ridge; son, John Williams, II, a student at the University of Tennessee; daughter, Kathy Peak and husband, Jeremy, Knoxville; brothers, Gary A. Williams, Claxton; Ronnie H. Williams, Oak Ridge; father-in-law, Dayton King, Oak Ridge; brothers-in-law, Dayton King and family, Albuquerque, New Mexico; Don King and family, Benton, Tennessee; Doug King and family, Oak Ridge; and by several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of Weatherford Mortuary on Sunday, June 15, 2008, 8 PM with Rev. Naomi Brown officiating. A graveside service will be on Monday, 11 A.M. at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6 -8 PM at Weatherford Mortuary. The family requests that memorials be in the form of donations to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, E. TN Chapter, 4700 Rutledge Pike, Knoxville, TN 37914.
