Glenn Shepherd, 60, of Parrottsville went to be with his Lord Thursday, November 2, 2006 at Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee. He was of the Baptist faith. Glenn is preceded in death by his father, Claude Shepherd; mother, Ethel Gossett Shepherd and brother Alfred Shepherd. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Reva Fish Shepherd; sons, Charles and wife Sue Shepherd, Johnny and wife Connie Shepherd; daughters Sharon and husband Chris Walker, Karen and husband Randall Stokely and Loretta and husband Daniel Ramsey. Mr. Shepherd will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Stephen Shepherd, Tyler Shepherd, Jacob Shepherd, Elizabeth and Isaac Walker, Chad Ealy, Seth Stokely, Matt Stokely, Carrie Stokely, Chloe Ramsey; special friend, Carl Sutton and Travis Thomas; brother, George Shepherd; sisters, Nancy Shepherd, Kathy Lewis, Gladys Sutton, Geraldine Sutton, Lillie Henry and Wilma Jean Eslinger and several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 5, 2006 from 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be Sunday, November 5, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Paul Jennings and Rev. Randall Frisbee Officiating. Interment will follow at Shepherd Family Cemetery. Brown Funeral Home has been honored to provide the final arrangements for Mr. Glenn Shepherd.
