She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and a retired employee of Levi Strauss with 32 years of service. Jane was preceded in death by parents John and Rose Johnson. She is survived by children, Linda Kitts, Ben and Kathy Fortenberry, Lonnie Fortenberry, Shelia and Chris Cameron; grandchildren, Lisa and Tony Farmer, Scott and Megan Fortenberry, Cynthia Fortenberry, Ashley and Caroline Cameron; great grandchildren, Chase Farmer, Clara Jane Fortenberry. Family and friends will meet for graveside services at Pollard Cemetery on Friday August 22, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. Reverend Lee Chorn officiating. Arrangements by McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home.
