She loved the Lord, church, gospel singing, family, friends and laughter. Ada’s caring ways, thoughtfulness, kindness, compassion and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Mettie Oakley Ogle, sisters, Hazel Ruth Ogle and Missie Mae Ogle Newcomb, brothers, Bruce Ogle and Jahu Ogle and husband, Reverend Harold Stroud. Remaining family members include her brothers, Jonathan Ogle and Gentry Ogle, sisters-in-law, Bernice Ogle and Elizabeth Ogle, Nephews, Paul Newcomb Jr., Gary Newcomb, Donnie Ogle, Jeff Ogle and nieces, Barbara Bradley, Connie Daniel, Sheila Monroe, Kathy Brackins, Karen Whitlock and Kay Ogle. Family and friends will meet Saturday, May 28, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Rawlings Funeral Home in Sevierville for visitation, then proceed to Shady Grove Cemetery for Ada’s Service and burial.
