Mrs. Jennie Josie Newcomb, age 72 of Chestnut Hill, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, July 7, 2006 at her home. Mrs. Newcomb was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jennie Gunter; son, Mark Newcomb; three brothers, and five sisters. She is survived by her husband, James A. Newcomb of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Luke and Debbie Newcomb of Dandridge; granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Traci and Mack Rauhuff of Seymour and Michelle and J.R. Boyer of Dandridge; granddaughters, Ashley Newcomb and Tammy Thomas of Dandridge; great-grandchildren, Serenity Rauhuff of Seymour and Hunter Boyer of Dandridge; sisters, Elsie Campbell and Estell Hall both of Dandridge; additional survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2006 at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles R. Newcomb and Larry Rauhuff officiating. Interment will be in the Chestnut Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday evening at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home. Arrangements by Costner-Maloy.
