August 9, 1947 - January 31, 2014
Resided in Sevierville,, TN
Elizabeth "Libby" Storie Sharp, age 66 of Sevierville, passed away Friday, January 31, 2014.
Libby was a devoted, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved and cherished her family as they did her. She deeply loved her first grandson, Blake, who preceded her in death.
Libby had a special smile and enthusiastic zest for life. She loved watching her grandchildren, Nicolas and Ella, play sports and participate in extra-curricular activities. She loved working in her flowers near her back patio, and enjoyed U.T. sports. She was "All Vol!"
Libby was an advocate for cancer research and causes. She mentored and counseled many people who were battling cancer, as she had twice survived cancer. She was caring, brave, and supportive, and provided comforting information that only someone who had been there could do.
Libby was the anchor and glue that held together the group where she worked at the Sharp and Ripley Law Firm for 32 years. Her spirit and memory will continue to anchor and bind us, and her bravery will inspire us as we move forward. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanford and Gertrude Storie, sister, Smitty Richards, brothers, Buddy and Bart Storie, and grandson, Blake Maples.
