The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Gateway Christian Academy, a 2007 graduate (summa cum laude) of Walters State Community College with an associate degree in Spanish and will graduate in May (magna cum laude) from Carson-Newman College with a Bachelor of Science degree in family and consumer sciences education. She plans to teach high school family and consumer sciences. The bridegroom-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Gateway Christian Academy, a 2007 graduate (magna cum laude) of Walters State Community College with an associate degree in physics and mathematics, and will graduate in May (magna cum laude) from Carson-Newman College with a Bachelor of Science degree in physics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. He plans to attend medical school.
