Michael Scott McInturff age 51 of Vonore, formerly of Maryville, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 at The University of Tennessee Medical Center. Scott was born in Maryville, TN and was a 1981 Graduate of Maryville High School. He attended ETSU and UT Knoxville. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy serving on the DDG Richard E. Byrd. Scott loved his family, his good friends, the outdoors, going to the beach and the lake, music, and animals. His family and friends will truly miss him. Preceded in death by: Grandparents, Glenn & Edra Rogers, Alta McInturff of Chattanooga, and Bill McInturff of Pigeon Forge; Uncle, Jim Rogers, Great Friend, C.L. Capps. Survived by: Wife, Judy Carver McInturff; Sons, Sean & Nick McInturff; Step-Sons, Keith Gray and Aaron Gray; Mother, Anne Rogers Capps; Father, David McInturff & wife Peggy; Brother, Eric McInturff, Nieces, Hannah, Sarah, Mollie McInturff and other nieces and nephews; Best Pals, Mac & Doc; Uncles and Aunts, Charles & Linda Rogers and Allen & Laquita McInturff; Cousin, Todd McInturff; Sister-in-law and Brothers-in-law, Sandy & Donny Dunlap, Larry & Carol Carver of Indiana, and Rick Carver. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Smith Trinity Chapel. A Celebration of Life for Scott will be held at a later date.
