LOVEDAY, JAMES ROBERT, JR. - age 61 of Knoxville, was born October 13, 1944 and went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2006 at St. Mary's Hospital. He served in the United States Army and retired last year from the Knoxville Fire Department after 32 years service. He was a member of Sunnyview Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: father and mother, James R. Loveday, Sr and Grace Jane Loveday sisters, Eula Mae Hill, Bobbie Neff brothers, Eugene, Ernest, Troy and Roy Loveday. He leaves behind: his beloved wife of 38 years, Chris Loveday daughters and sons-in-law, Lee and Keith Ellis, Christi and Jerry Hughett cherished grandchildren, Dustin and Megan Ellis, Kaylie and Van Hughett loving sisters, Wanda Irwin, Kay Miller and Carolyn Frye along with many special nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8 pm Tuesday Mynatt's Halls Chapel. Rev. Harold Ellis, Rev. Chris Daugherty and Chaplin Paul Trumpore officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home 10:15 am Wednesday and proceed to Halls Memory Gardens for an interment service at 11 am. Pallbearers: Bill Underwood, Gene Irwin, Wayne Irwin, David Loveday, Dustin Ellis and Alvin Loveday. Family will receive friends 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
