He is survived by his wife, Peggy Proffitt, of Cosby; daughter, Sandra (James) Large of Cosby; grandchildren, Tristan and April Proffitt of Cosby, Timmy Proffit of Cosby, Brad and Madison Williams of Severville, Jordan and Kyndall Large of Cosby, Megan and Zachary Worex of California; great-grandchildren, Bradlee and Tinzlee Proffitt of Cosby, Bentley Large of Cosby, and two on the way, Dallas Williams and Brayden Worex; brother, James (Norma) Proffitt; sisters, Elaine Gunter and Pam Proffitt all of Cosby; brothers–in-law and sisters-in-law, Tommy McGaha of Cosby, Carl McGaha of Cosby, Linda (Bob) Valentine of Cosby, Terry McGaha of Cosby, Debbie and Tim Hall of Newport, Vicky and Robert Hall of Newport, Pam and Phil Barwick of Newport; also many beloved nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
