WHALEY, CARLOS (JACK) -age 71 of Knoxville, went to be with his loving Savior on Saturday, March 6, 2010. He is survived by his loving wife and soul mate of 51 years, Evelyn (Faye) Whaley; sister, Flossie; brother, Brice; his children, Bill, Vickie, Debbie, Greg and daughter-in-law, Lacey; son-in-law, Ken Brown; his grandchildren, Tina, Heather, Josh, Kristyna, Aaron, Alyssa, Destiny, Dalton; great-grandchildren, Anna, Jack Carly, Sasha, Kaylee, Jake, Tai, and many nieces, nephews and friends that will miss him deeply. Very humble before God, he loved to sing in church and has a great voice and was a song leader for many years. He was a deacon since 1971 and was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church. May we always carry on the legacy of his unconditional love, patience and understanding. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM.
