Billie Sue Brady, age 76, of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2007, at St Mary’s Residential Hospice.
Mrs. Brady was born in Sevierville, TN, on July 19, 1931. She moved to Knoxville in 1959, a devoted wife and mother. She always received the most joy from the simpler pleasures of life. She especially enjoyed traveling, gardening, feeding her birds, cooking, following her favorite sports teams and serving others in her church and community. Her kindness created a wealth of friendships.
Mrs. Brady was an active member of First Baptist Church, Powell, TN, and was a long-standing member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church, Knoxville. She was a beautiful Christian and was dearly loved by all who knew her. What a joyous reunion she is having in Heaven with husband Lewis and all those friends and family members who have gone on before her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis E. Brady, parents, C.R. Spicer and Maude Spicer DeJesus.
Survivors:
Sons and daughters-in-law: Dr. James Brady and wife Martha, Dr. Stephen Brady and wife Nicolle, Phillip Brady and wife Rita.
