He was a longtime member of Riverdale Methodist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Elizabeth Smelcer; wife, Nova Smelcer; brothers, Wilson (Red) and Clay Smelcer; sister, Ozilene Randles. Survivors Survived by sisters, Lida Robinson, Mildred Householder and Ann Bohannon; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Marty and Angela Wilson. Service Family and friends will meet at Woodlawn Cemetery on Wednesday for 11 AM graveside services, Rev. John Goins officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverdale Methodist Church, 7117 Thorngrove Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee 37914. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
