Georgia Pauline Sharpe, age 85, of Knoxville passed away Thursday, September 28, 2006 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Buffet Heights Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Ivan “C.E.” Sharpe; daughter, Iva Jo Sharpe; parents, Howard and Julia Parker; brothers, Lester Eugene and Ralph Houston Parker.
Survivors
Survived by daughter, Patsy Moore and husband Charles; son, Robert Earl Sharpe and wife Judy; sisters, Hazel Hurst, Jacksonville, FL, and Carmen Baker, Louisville, TN; brother, Clifford “Pete” Parker, Louisville, TN; five grandchildren, Michael Dean Sharpe, Kelly Kristine Ring, Charles Michael Moore, Russell Scott Moore, and Sandra Diane Martin; seven great grandchildren; special niece, Karen Hurst and several other nieces and nephews.
Service
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday with a chapel service to follow at 8:00PM at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Richard Wilson officiating. Friends and family will meet at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a graveside service on Monday at 11:00AM.
