In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son David Dewayne Sherrod; granddaughter Heather Wilkerson; brothers Ulis Wilkerson, Kyle Wilkerson and Bill Wilkerson. She leaves behind to mourn her passing her husband Kenneth Whaley; sons Scott Wilkerson and Kenny Whaley, Jr.; granddaughter Misty Hillbourne and husband Chris; grandchildren Cassie, Jordan and Zoey; special mother-in-law Ruby Whaley; sisters Christine Morgan, Joyce Taylor and husband Steve, Deborah Hubbard and husband Donald, Diane Rippy and husband Tommy, Judy Sproles and husband Alan; brothers Everett Wilkerson and wife Lucie, Mike Wilkerson and wife Teresa. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Saturday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. Funeral service 2 PM Sunday in the chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Clay Sutton and Rev. Ronnie White officiating. Interment will follow the service in Pollard Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Donald and Jason Hubbard, Cody Mills, Billy Wilkerson, Brian and Tommy Rippy.
