TREVENA, SARAH of Knoxville, died Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Sarah was a member of First United Methodist Church, Knoxville and St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Etowah, TN for many years. She was formerly on the Board of Directors and was a swimming instructor for over 40 years with the American Red Cross, as well as an instructor with the Y.W.C.A. and the Y.M.C.A. Sarah was a graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan College who became a teacher with the McMinn County, TN school system for many years. She was preceded in death by: her beloved husband, Frank Thomas Trevena who died in 1990. She is survived by numerous nephews and nieces including, Douglas Clark of Knoxville, Jere Miller and his wife Linda of Etowah, TN and Karin Stewart of Cincinnati, OH, Ila Satterfield and Patricia Satterfield, both of Knoxville. Funeral service 7:30 p.m. Friday at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel with Rev. Mike Jackson officiating. Interment to be private. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to First United Methodist Church, 3316 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919 or to the American Red Cross, Local Disaster Relief Funds P.O.
