MINK, MILDRED JUANITA - age 75, 3227 Gap Creek Rd., Hampton, died Wednesday, March 5, 2008 in Pine Ridge Care and Rehab following an extended illness. She was a daughter of the late Carl and Trula Stoner Morgan. Mrs. Mink was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph J. Mink; one sister and six brothers. Survivors include three daughters and one son-in-law, Nancy and Jerry Street, Hampton, Linda Mink Bowling Henning, Elizabethton, Diana Willis, Jonesborough; three sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Glenda Mink, Johnson City, Roger and Sue Mink, Daryl and Patti Mink, all of Knoxville; one brother, Charlie Morgan, Knoxville; two sisters, Frances Douglas, Jericho, KY, Ernestine Hearst, FL; fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and special friend, Loya Pearson. The funeral service for Mrs. Mink will be conducted at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 8 in the Tetrick Funeral Home with Rev. Dean Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday prior to the service in the chapel. Friends may also call at the residence of her daughter (3227 Gap Creek Rd., Hampton) at other times. The graveside service and interment will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 9 at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Everyone is welcome to meet the family at 12:15 p.m. at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Lee Mink, Tim Mink, Travis Bowling, Brad Willis, Austin Mink and Waylon Mink. Honorary pallbearer will be Shane D. Mink. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to the American Lung Association of TN, One Vantage Way Suite C-250, Nashville, TN 37228.
