Clyde Jenkins, age 59, of Cosby went to be with the Lord Saturday morning at Morristown. Mr. Jenkins was a Baptist by faith and a retired cook.
He was preceded in death by both parents, William Thomas and Bertie (Valentine) Jenkins, and four brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Northern) Jenkins of the home; two sons, Robert and Mark Jenkins of Cosby; sisters and brothers-in-law, Arola Spurgeon, grace Mathis, Betty and O.Z. Jenkins, and Arlene and M.L. Cureton all of Cosby, and Bernice Bright of Newport; special God-daughter, Kayla Rose Nallion; and a special friend, Peggy Clark.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening at Brown Funeral Home January 11, 2004 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Reverend Leon Large and Reverend Cleo Williamson officiating. Graveside service will be conducted Monday, January 12, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Allen’s Cemetery Dark Hollow Rd.
Brown Funeral Home has been honored to make final arrangements for Mr. Clyde Jenkins.
