Obituaries April 3, 2005 Mattie Jean Clabough Mattie Jean Clabough, 93, a resident of Cleveland, died Wednesday. She was born in Sevier County and she was the daughter of the late Ellen McCarter Watson and James Watson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvel Clabough; her son, Arvel Clabough Jr.; three sisters; and two brothers. Survivors include her daughters, Lottie F. Stonecipher and husband Arless E. Stonecipher, Christine Miller and her husband Donald R. Miller, Anna Ruth Tilley and her husband Paul Dean Tilley, and Stella M. Fletcher and her husband Jefferey Fletcher; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted this afternoon at 3 p.m. from the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Rev. Isaac Hicks officiating. Interment will follow. A dove release will conclude the service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Bradley Health Care and Rehabilitation Bus Fund, 2910 Peerless Road, Cleveland, TN 37312. The family received friends Friday at the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes. Jim Rush Funeral Homes has charge of the arrangements.
