Mrs. Thelma Faye Maples Noland, 53, of Dalton departed this life Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at Emory Health Care Center.
Mrs. Noland was born in Sevierville, Tenn., June 19, 1955, to the late Robert and Bertha Mae Loveday Maples. Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Maples.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony R. Noland Sr. of the residence; son, Anthony R. Noland Jr. and his fiancée Darlene Cantrell of Dalton; grandson, Christopher Reed Noland of Tunnel Hill; sisters, Aileen Bernard and Billie Jo Loveday, both of Tennessee; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dan and Mary Maples of Chatsworth, Ray Maples of Tennessee and William and Cathy Loveday of Gatlinburg, Tenn.; special friends, DeEtte Dunan and Joyce Fradley both of Dalton.
Services to celebrate the life of Thelma Noland are Friday at 7 p.m. from the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Poteet officiating.
The family will receive friends on Thursday after 5 p.m. and on Friday until the service.
