PRUEITT, EDWARD MARION - age 81, of Knoxville, Tenn., passed away Sunday, October 13, 2002, at Hillcrest North. He was a member of Holston Baptist Church. Mr. Prueitt was a combat Veteran serving in the U. S. Army during World War II. He was a retired superintendent of Brownlee Construction Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ora Bell Prueitt one brother, James R. Prueitt and sister, Mildred Taylor. Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Ann Brown, step daughter, Dorothy Sibbett, special grandson, Tony Crawford sisters, Hazel Harris and Juanita Anderson sisters and brothers-in-law, Lily and Bill Willard, Ruth and Burton Rigsby and Edith and Jim Adcock brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Melva Prueitt brother-in-law, Walter Taylor eleven grandchildren seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, October 15, with funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Interment will be at Shiloh Cemetery in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., Wednesday, October 16, at 11 a.m., Rev. Larry Young and Rev. Mack Hayes will be officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements by McCarty Mortuary, 4004 Holston Dr., Knoxville, Tenn.
