Creed Carter Sutton, age 91 of Sevierville went home to be with his heavenly family Sunday March 10, 2002 at his home in the Douglas Dam Community. He was born May 1, 1910 to Lawson and Lila Barnes Sutton. He married the love of his life Stella Rogers Sutton June 1, 1929. He was saved in Revival at Reed School and was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. He and Stella had 72 wonderful years together and 8 children. He was a life long farmer who loved his garden, and also loved working at the Sevier County Fair Grounds. He will join in Heaven his sons, Wallace and Reece Suttton, parents and brothers Kurt, Hobert and Tom Sutton.

Rev. Glen Franklin, and Rev. Orville Parton officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 PM Monday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
