Jerry W. Hickman, age 81 of Kodak, passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 after a long illness, with his wife Letha by his side holding his hand. Jerry was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean War. Mr. Hickman retired from Glidden Paint Company after 40 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents J. M. and Georgia U. Hickman; brothers J.M. Hickman, Jr., Jimmy U. Hickman and sister Mary Ella Hickman; great niece Jodie Nelson and Mary Elizabeth Dance.

Funeral service 5:30 PM Sunday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Compton officiating. Interment 11AM Monday in Beech Springs Cemetery with military honors provided by American Legion Post 104.
