Margaret Louise Poe, 92, of Knoxville passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017. She was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Poe was a housewife.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Allen Poe, Sr.; multiple brothers and sisters; daughter-in-law, Becky Foust Poe; infant son; and infant granddaughter.
Margaret is survived by her children Edgar "Eddie" Allen Poe, Jr. and wife Linda, Ronald "Ronnie" Steven Poe and wife Patsy, Karen Rebecca "Becky" Moulton and husband Carl, and Pamela "Pam" Kaye Golden; brother-in-law, Bernard Poe; sister-in-law Ina Hill; sister, Patsy Garner of Winchester, KY; multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and her caregiver, Sherri Crawley.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Tennessee Veterans Cemetery fund or your local church outreach ministry.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM Sunday, May 7th at Atchley Funeral Home, Seymour, 122 Peacock Court, Seymour, TN 37865. Family and friends will meet at 2 PM Monday at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E. Gov. John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN for the graveside service and interment.
