Glenn Joseph Seagle, age 73, of Seymour, went to be with the Lord Thursday February 5, 2004.
He was retired from Power Equipment Company, a Deacon at Mountain View Baptist Church, he taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for 48 years at various Churches in Sevier, Blount and Knox Counties.
He was preceded in death by his father Jesse Seagle, mother Miley Seagle, brothers Donald Seagle and Bobby Seagle, sisters Zelma Seagle and Gladys Seagle, granddaughter Shannon Galyon
Survivors:
Loving Wife of 54 years: Iris Williams Seagle
Children: Alene and Donnie Galyon , Smiley Joe and Mary Jane Seagle , Mike and Linda Seagle , Glenda and Randy Tucker
Grandchildren: Melissa and Brian McCarter, Tyson and Misty Galyon, Rodney and Jennifer Seagle, and Josh Tucker
Great grandchildren: Carrie Ogle, Dalton McCarter, Hunter Galyon
Brother: Johnny Seagle and wife Colleen
Sister: Dorothy Loope
Special thanks to the staff of the Dialysis Center in Sevierville, the Fort Sanders Sevier Medical Center staff, the Baptist Hospice staff, Dr. Jeffrey Swilley and his staff and for all of our special loving friends who made his pain a little more bearable.
Funeral service 7 PM Saturday at Atchley’s Seymour Chapel, Rev. Mike Seagle, Rev. W.A. Galyon, and Rev. Bill Helton officiating. Interment 2 PM Sunday in Mt. View Cemetery.
