Rudolph S. Stout CW03, Ret. age 77 of Sevierville died Thursday, June 27, 2002 at his home. He was born September 14, 1924 in Fort Eustis, VA.
Mr. Stout served with the 460th Bomb Group, World War II in the European Theater, the 510 th Ord. Co. in Japan, Korea, Germany, Saudia Base, New Mexico, and Red Stone Arsenal ,Huntsville, Alabama. He retired in 1969 with 24 years of active service.
Mr. Stout attended Southeastern College, University of Alabama and University of Tennessee. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Pigeon Forge where he served as a Sunday school teacher, deacon and on various committees. He was a member of the Brotherhood and Disaster Team of the Southern Baptist. He made summer mission trips with the Brotherhood and several relief trips with the Disaster Team.
He was preceded in death by his parents, M/Sgt William M. and Sarah L. Stout; brothers, William M. Stout Jr., and Grover G. Stout; sister, Dorothy S. Belew.

Funeral service 7 PM Sunday, June 30 in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. W.W. Cope and Dr. Jeff Brooks officiating. Family and friends will meet 11 AM Monday, July 1 at Mattox Cemetery for interment with military honors. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Sunday, June 30 at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
