William H. Hedrick age 84 of Maryville passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member and former Sunday School Teacher at Broadway Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp serving during World War II. William was a retired Transmission Supervisor from BellSouth. Preceded in death by: Wife, Ila B. Hedrick; Brothers, Paul L. & Eugene F. Hedrick. Survivors include: Son and Daughter-in-law, Robert A. & Shirley Hedrick of Knoxville; Grandchildren, Samuel W. Dixon & wife Angie, Deborah D. Sand, and Kathleen D. Cagle & husband Phillip; Three Grandchildren; Brother and Sister-in-law, Luther H. & Floy Headrick of Sevierville; Sister, Mildred H. Stout of Sevierville; Sister and Brother-in-law, Mary H. & Shirl Ownby of Seymour; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Thursday, May 31, 2007 at Smith Mortuary with Rev. Thomas Price officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10:30 AM, Friday, June 1, 2007 at Highland South Cemetery for the interment. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 PM, Thursday, May 31, 2007 at Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 865-983-1000.
