Ben G. Headrick went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, August 30, 2005, peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was born May 14, 1916, to Phillip and Mattie Parrott Headrick. He was retired from the Army and was a veteran of WW II and the Korean War. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Sevierville for 43 years and a lifetime deacon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Paul and Newt Headrick and three infant brothers.

Devoted and loving wife of 60 years: Norma Mize Headrick
Daughters and sons-in-law: Phyllis and David Ham, Linda and Alan Granstrom, Janet and Marvin Fabry
Son and daughter-in-law: David and Kim Headrick
Grandchildren: Julie (Kevin) Hurst, Alana (Tony) Trent, Emily Granstrom, Audrey, Jacob, and Phillip Fabry, Zachary, Mackenzie and Brantly Headrick
Great-grandchildren: Sam and Ella Hurst, Maverick and Denver Trent
There are many other special relatives, church family members and friends who were so devoted to his needs throughout his illness. Special thanks to his caregivers.
Funeral service 7 PM Friday at First Baptist Church, Sevierville with Pastor Randy Davis officiating. Interment 12 noon Saturday in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include: David Ham, Alan Granstrom, Marvin Fabry, Kevin Hurst, Tony Trent and Jacob Fabry. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons and members of his Sunday school class from First Baptist Church, Sevierville. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post # 104.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Building Fund at First Baptist Church, 317 Parkway, Sevierville, Tennessee, 37862 or the American Lung Association of TN, One Vantage Way, Suite C-250, Nashville, Tennessee, 37728.
