Mr. Earl Dale Hooper , age 78 , of Cosby , went to be with the Lord on Friday morning , February 27 , 2015 , at his home. Mr. Hooper was a member of Allen's Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his son Roger Dale Hooper , mother Trula Styles and father Cleona Hooper , step-mother Beulah Hooper , and sister Gail Swann. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Linda Hooper ; son Glen Keith Hooper , both of Cosby ; grandson Jacob Roger Hooper of Sevierville; sister Jeanette (Mike) Braley of Newport; brothers Bobby (Dorothy) Hooper of Cosby and Noah 'June-Bug' (Mary) McMahan of North Carolina. Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015 , at Allen's Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Large and Rev. Doug Messer officiating. The interment will be in the Allen's Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00—2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015 , at Allen's Missionary Baptist Church prior to the service. Arrangements by Costner-Maloy
