Willie A. Frisbee, 80, of Hartford, went to be with his Lord Friday, May 16, 2003, following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Frisbee was a farmer and a member of Blacks Chapel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Liza (Rathbone) Frisbee; 2 sons also preceded in death, Burl and Billy Frisbee; one daughter, Zella Frisbee; and three brothers and one sister also preceded, Coy Frisbee, Lee Frisbee, Elmer Frisbee, and Opal Hill.
Mr. Frisbee is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nita (Mooneyham) Frisbee, of the home; five daughters and sons-in-law, Arlene and Roy McGaha, of Newport, Brenda and Charles McMahan, of Newport, Inez and Ernest Lee Stuart, also of Newport, Shirley and Tony Breeden, of Hartford, Royce and Chris Jones, of Morristown and one son, Jerry Frisbee, of Hartford; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Selma and Fred Ogle, of Newport and Lula Williams, of Hartford; one brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Alvaina Frisbee, of Newport; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
The family received friends at the home on Saturday, May 17, 2003 and will receive friends at the home, 4920 Big Creek Rd., in Hartford on Sunday, May 18, 2003. Funeral service will be conducted Monday, May 19, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Blacks Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Green and Rev. Fred Cagle officiating. Interment will follow in Frisbee Rathbone Cemetery.
